Why I made these
On a university field trip to Baja California, a gray whale mother surfaced beside our small boat. She eased her calf towards us, close enough to touch. A friend on the boat cried.
I have dived with whale sharks in Holbox. I helped release olive ridley hatchlings at Puerto Escondido. I made these books so kids can meet these animals too, one page at a time.
